Hello!
My name is Camille!
Thank you for visiting my website!
Mais, it's nice to meet you sha! I am VERY pleased to be considered as your pet's new buddy & teacher!

Let's get to know each other!
I've been serving Acadiana pets since 2009 in many different capacities- But I also have lifelong experience and expertise among all types of cuddly (& sometimes not so cuddly) companions.
In 2014 I decided to make a career change from the road I was travelling (VetMed), to dog training and behaviorism- after getting my heart dog "Force". I don't think I've ever made a better decision in my life!
You see, Force is a Belgian Tervuren (A very beautiful, but very intense working breed- widely used in the police and military).
...Well, since I grew up with German Shepherds, (and I considered myself a VERY well informed and capable dog owner)- I figured I wouldn't have much trouble- BOY WAS I WRONG!
I soon learned just how difficult it was not only to be able to handle a dog bred to be a soldier, but how difficult it was to meet his unique "Working Dog" needs. I decided very quickly that I was going to have to find out how to train him before he would've eventually RUINED MY LIFE...

And that's when I found Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers, AND FELL IN LOVE!
Not only did the hands-on training come very naturally to me, but I became absolutely enthralled (you could say obsessed) with the learning theories behind canine behavior, and how to bring about measurable, lasting change in the lives of these beautiful animals.
I FINALLY FOUND MY PASSIONATE PURPOSE!!!
In November 2014 I graduated from Starmark Academy with the new title:
"Professional Dog Training and Behavioral Specialist",
and I've been blessed with the ability and opportunity to change the lives of Acadiana Area dogs and their owners ever since!

Right out of school I had the AMAZING opportunity to be taken under the wing of Mr. John Bonin of Bonin Boarding & Dog Training Center for several years, and loved every minute of it!

...And after training HUNDREDS of dogs and people, I found that this is not only my PASSIONATE PURPOSE, but it was also my GIFT! I have NEVER met a pet I couldn't level with.

I thoroughly enjoy bringing pets and pet parents closer together, and opening the lines of communication between them helps to do just that!

Today, I am eternally grateful for every opportunity to be of service, and to pass MY GIFT along to YOU, YOUR DOG(S)& YOUR FAMILY! You can be ABSOLUTELY SURE that your best friend is in LOVING and completely capable hands with me, and no matter what the challenge may be, I will approach it with joy and professionalism to get the job done! I look forward to getting to know you and your co-pilot!

-Temperment Testing:
The AKC Temperament Test can provide you with interesting information about your dog’s temperament. For purebred dogs, there is a national parent club for every AKC recognized breed. Each breed’s national parent club has a written breed standard that includes information on the breed’s temperament.
Taking the ATT allows you, the dog’s owner, to determine how close your purebred dog’s temperament is to the breed standard. For mixed breed dogs, taking the ATT may provide the dog owner with insight about the temperament of an individual dog.
The ATT provides information about a dog’s reactions to a variety of stimuli. Stimuli are basically any object or event that can be detected by an animal’s senses. Examples of stimuli are sounds, smells, touches, and objects that the animal sees.
ATT testing can identify behaviors related to temperament that can be addressed through training.
