Pet Obedience Levels 1-2-3
OVERVIEW
*LVLs 1-3 Obedience Available in BOTH
COACHING and BOARD & TRAIN Programs.
As your pet progresses through each program, *the "3 D's" of Difficulty in Dog Training increase:
1. DISTANCE
2. DISTRACTION
3. DURATION
"THE INTROVERT"
Basic On-Leash Obedience
● DISTANCE: 6FT
● DISTRACTION: Minimal
● DURATION: 5 minutes
"THE EXTROVERT"
INTERMEDIATE On-Leash Obedience
● DISTANCE: 20FT
● DISTRACTION: MODERATE
● DURATION: 10 minutes
"THE MASTER"
ADVANCED Off-Leash Obedience
● DISTANCE: 20FT+
● DISTRACTION: MAXIMUM
● DURATION: 15 minutes+
"THE INTROVERT"
LVL 1 OB.
Basic On-Leash Obedience
● DISTANCE: 6FT
● DISTRACTION: Minimal
● DURATION: 5 minutes
You and your dog will finally be able to walk in peace! No more pulling!
LVL 1 OB. focuses on teaching;
*YOU the importance of a Healthy Leadership Roles, Clear Communication & Fair Boundaries;
WHICH when utilized CORRECTLY-
WILL give you a LIFELONG peaceful and balanced relationship with your now emotionally balanced dog-
!!!PRICELESS!!!
*YOUR DOG the "language" we will use to communicate to them what we do/ do not accept as acceptable behavior, by showing them that their actions-whether good or bad- have consequences; & its THEIR CHOICE to comply-and get REWARDED,
OR say no, (or to not comply)-& be CORRECTED.
Basic obedience will teach your dog how to:
-Become comfortable with Crate training which is reinforced with positive association to an orderly schedule, (Reinforced by Modeling the rest of the pack)
-"Heel' alongside of you (INCLUDING a change of pace), and an "automatic Halt" -(sit automatically when you stop)

-Additional commands taught include groundwork knowledge of; *Sit-stay, *Down-stay,
*Place" stay (boundary stay- on an elevated bed),
and beginning stages of *recalls (coming when called).
***Because every dog is an individual, results will vary. Hand signals and body language will be necessary to utilize during this early stage of training. Constant clear communication using ELEVATED EXCITEMENT (bubbles), in your voice for OUTSTANDING behavior, and deeper, lower tones (I call my "Trainer voice", some people call it their "dad voice")
for UNNACCEPTABLE behavior is NECESSARY at all times in this first learning phase as well.
"THE EXTROVERT"
LVL 2 OB.
INTERMEDIATE On-Leash Obedience
● DISTANCE: 20FT
● DISTRACTION: MODERATE
● DURATION: 10 minutes
You will feel CONFIDENT in most average daily scenarios IN & OUTside of the home.
LVL 2 OB. focuses on:
EXPANDING ON, & PROOFING behaviors learned in LVL 1 Ob.;
-"Heel' alongside of you (INCLUDING a change of pace), and an "automatic Halt" -(sit automatically when you stop).
-Additional commands are brought to the next level using a 20ft long line, and "stay" positions are elevated to 10min. (*Sit-stay, *Down-stay,
*Place" stay (boundary stay- on an elevated bed),
and beginning stages of *recalls (coming when called).
*YOU are taught more in depth the psychology and theory behind YOUR DOGS training methodology.
***Because every dog is an individual, results will vary. Hand signals and body language will be less necessary to utilize during this second stage of training. Constant clear communication using ELEVATED EXCITEMENT (bubbles), in your voice for OUTSTANDING behavior, and deeper, lower tones (I call my "Trainer voice", some people call it their "dad voice")
for UNNACCEPTABLE behavior is still warranted, but less NECESSARY in order to communicate efficiently in this second stage of learning..
"THE MASTER"
LVL 3 OB.
ADVANCED OFF-Leash Obedience
AKA
"THE OFF-LEASH LIFE"
● DISTANCE: 20FT+
● DISTRACTION: MAXIMUM
● DURATION: 15 minutes+
You and your dog will finally be able to live the HIGHLY coveted "Off-Leash Life"!
No more limitations!
LVL 3 OB. focuses on;
Heeling alongside of you outside off-leash without any worry when distractions arise!
Greetings from friendly strangers AND their friendly dogs will be a hassle for you no more! You will have solid confidence in your dog's obedience around MOST ALL day to day situations.
-Additional commands of sit-stay, down-stay, and place stay are expanded to out-of-sight stays!
-Recalls are taken to the next level by generalizing to
outside environments without a leash and a flashy side finish when the dog returns to you.
Because every dog is an individual, results will vary. Hand signals and body language will not be as necessary to utilize as it was previously during this next stage of training. Constant clear communication using elevated excitement (bubbles) in your voice for outstanding behavior, and lower tones (dad voice) for unacceptable behavior is still OPTIMAL. However, if you can keep bringing the energy during formal training sessions, you can relax during your “off time” as your dog now understands what is/is not acceptable behavior, and what is expected of them.
Now, you have NO ISSUES in your relationship that cannot be worked through using
the communication system that has been established through Cajun Confidence Dog Training.
